Aircraft Maintainer requirements and job description

Aircraft Maintainer Eligibility Requirements

Aviation maintenance MOS with an emphasis on Airframes, Powerplants, and Avionics. Please see the comprehensive FAA List here (PDF pages 21-37).

We provide up to six months of the experience required to meet the 30 month requirement for both airframes and powerplants work history to apply to the FAA for an A&P testing authorization. For example, a Service member who only has records of maintaining power plants will need to show airframe work experience to apply at the FAA District Office (FSDO) to take the A&P tests. We will provide the experience needed to round out your qualifications and provide documentation. We can also assist with the paperwork required by the FAA to apply for the A&P testing and help set up the required interview in the FAA office in Richmond, Virginia.
